Antonietta Valiante
Antonietta Valiante, wife of the late Giuseppe "Joseph" Valiante, died on April 24, 2022 at her home in Norwalk at the age of 82. Born in Jelsi, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Pasqualina Santella. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed gardening, cooking and caring for her family. She and her husband were longtime members of St. Ann's Club in Norwalk.
She is survived by her sons, Peter Valiante and his wife Amy of Monroe, and Michael Valiante of Trumbull; five loving grandchildren: Joseph, Jenna, Nicole, Michael Jr., and Madeleine; as well as two brothers, Dominic and Gaetano Santella of Montreal.
Her family will receive friends on Tuesday (Today) from 4-7 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, April 27 at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave, Norwalk, with entombment to follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
