She was employed as a seamstress for Strongwear Pants Company, Northampton Pants Company and retired from A&H Sportwear. Antonina was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Sodality and San Placido Society. Antonina enjoyed keeping herself busy. She had a green thumb tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. Her handmade gifts of knitted or crocheted blankets are treasured by her family and friends.
Antonina is survived by her sons, Placido "Pat" DiFrancesca of Easton; Giuseppe DiFrancesca and his wife Roseann of Palmer Twp.; Antonino DiFrancesca and his wife Carol Ann of Palmer Twp.; daughters, Stefana Tornabene of Palmer Twp.; Maria Haney of College Hill; sister, Lucia Re of Castel di Lucio; grandchildren, Rosalia, Maria, Joseph, Thomas, Cheryl, Antonino, Rosa Maria, Matthew; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Antonina was predeceased by her husband, Gaetano DiFrancesca; sisters, Rosana Mammana, Maria DiFrancesca; brothers, Antonino Cicero, and Francesco Cicero.
Calling hours will be held, Friday November 29, 2024 from 8:15 AM until 10:15 AM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Ninth and Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com

My mother Elizabeth worked with Mrs. DeFrancesca for many years, first at Strongwear and thenA&H where they retired about the same time. She was a very nice lady. May she rest in peace.
