Antonio Guzman Hernandez, 97, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on October 1, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on September 2, 1928, in Knippa, Texas to Lorenza (Guzman) and Guillermo Hernandez.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
A Mass will be celebrated on October 24, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment of ashes will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Samilpa and husband, Anthony of Kyle and Raquel Hernandez of Uvalde; three sons, Tony Hernandez and wife, Alice Samilpa Hernandez of Austin, Moses Hernandez and wife, Gema and Willie Hernandez and wife, Emma all of Uvalde; brother, Joe Hernandez of Benbrook; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; special cousin, Mary Ann Garcia and husband, Joe of Uvalde; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Estella Oliver Hernandez.
