Antonio Landeros Obituary
Devoted husband of 46 years of the late Maria Landeros. Loving father of Brenda, Carlos, Armando and Ricardo, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Cherished son of the late Antonio Landeros and Fausta Alcala.
As a teenager he discovered his passion for working and restoring muscle and classic cars. It developed into a lifelong hobby that extended to his children as well. He found his love for the game of baseball growing up and his unwavering devotion to the California Angels often attending games at old Wrigley field in Los Angeles before they relocated to Anaheim.
He arrived in Palm Springs in 1964 where he quickly fell in love with the desert and the Palm Springs small village feel. He soon established roots here and on June 15th, 1968 he married Maria Landeros where together they created a loving home and raised four children.
He worked in the Restaurant Industry for 40 plus years primarily as a Polynesian Bartender, starting at Don The Beachcomber in Palm Springs from 1964 to 1975, then Tradewinds in Rancho Mirage from 1975 to 1977, The House of Bamboo in Rancho Mirage from 1978 to 1998 and the Riviera Resort in Palm Springs from 2000 to 2006.
Once Retired in 2008 he dedicated more time enjoying and visiting family and friends, listening to his classic ranchera music and watching every single Angels baseball game.
For those who knew him he will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, hard work and dedication and love for his family.
We celebrate his life and legacy and values he taught us in Honor of our father our Hero you will be extremely missed there will be no other like you.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025 from 5pm - 9pm at Wiefels & Son funeral home. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025 at 12 Noon at St. Theresa Catholic Church, followed by a graveside service at Desert Memorial Park, Cathedral City,
