Antonio Martinez Sanchez, de 61 años, residente de Asheboro, Carolina del Norte, falleció el 27 de junio de 2025 en Greensboro, NC.
Antonio nació el 11 de Febrero de 1964 en Guanajuato, México, hijo de Ramón Martínez y Epigmenia Sánchez. Era un hombre alegre y lleno de vida, siempre bromeando con todos y contagiando alegría dondequiera que iba. Le encantaba contar historias a sus nietos y disfrutaba llevárselos a comer—momentos que ellos recordarán con cariño.
Estuvo casado 39 hermosos años con el amor de su vida, María Arredondo. Antonio amaba profundamente a su familia y también a sus animales. Su perro Apolo fue su compañero inseparable, siempre a su lado.
Sus amigos lo recordarán por las reuniones compartidas, las historias que contaba y la calidez que traía a cada momento. Su bondad, su sentido del humor y su amor dejarán una huella eterna en quienes lo conocieron.
Le preceden en la muerte su padre, Ramón Martínez, y su hermana, Alicia Martínez.
Le sobreviven su esposa, María Arredondo; sus hijos, Antonio Martínez, Adán Martínez y Alan Martínez; su nuera, Maribel Ortega; sus nietos, Carlos Ortega, Alexa Martínez y Adán Martínez; y su madre, Epigmenia Sánchez.
La Misa Funeral se celebrará el sábado 5 de Julio a las 11:00 am en la Capilla Glenn “Mac” Pugh, con el Padre Juan Timlin y el Diácono Enedino Aquino oficiando. El entierro se llevará a cabo en el cementerio New Hope Memorial Gardens inmediatamente después de la misa
Antonio Martinez Sanchez, age 61, of Asheboro, NC, passed away on June 27, 2025, in Greensboro, NC.
Antonio was born on February 11, 1964, in Guanajuato, Mexico, to Ramon Martinez and Epigmenia Sanchez. A joyful and spirited man, Antonio brought laughter and warmth wherever he went. Known for his jokes and storytelling, he especially loved sharing stories with his grandchildren and taking them out to eat—moments they will cherish forever.
He was married to the love of his life, Maria Arredondo, for 39 beautiful years. Family was everything to Antonio, and his loyalty and devotion extended to his animals as well. His faithful dog, Apolo, was always by his side—they were truly inseparable.
Friends and loved ones will remember Antonio for the good times shared, the stories told, and the unforgettable presence he brought to every gathering. His kindness, humor, and love will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Martinez, and his sister, Alicia Martinez.
Antonio is survived by his wife, Maria Arredondo; his sons, Antonio Martinez, Adan Martinez, and Alan Martinez; his daughter-in-law, Maribel Ortega; his grandchildren, Carlos Ortega, Alexa Martinez, and Adan Martinez; and his mother, Epigmenia Sanchez.
Funeral Mass will be held Saturday July 5, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Glenn “Mac” Pugh Chapel with Father John Timlin and Deacon Enedino Aquino presiding over. Burial will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens.
