Antonio Aguirre Ramirez, 95 of Elgin, passed away at his home Saturday January 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in El Zape, Durango, Mexico March 1, 1930; son of Tomas Aguirre Salgado and Soledad Ramirez Rios. Antonio was a farmer for or over 60 years. He enjoyed working with electronics, fixing cars, taking care of his animals; both farm and domestic, but what he enjoyed most was spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by 2 daughters; Juana (Miguel) Prado and Lidia (Ignacio) Aguirre. 4 sons; Felix (Luz Elena), Epifanio (Rosa), Lorenzo (Alicia), and Fernando (Lilia).

20 grandchildren; Lizeth, Maria Elena, Alma,Peter, Leticia, Tatiana, Isaac, Yolanda, Zusi, Marta, Antonio, Jessica, Miguel Antonio, Emanuel, Jesus, Moises, Evelyn, Nayeli, Adrian and Genesis.

34 great grandchildren; Yandel, Alan, Catalina, Joshua, Andrew, Lucia, Dalilah, Sofia, Olivia, Mathew, Jesus, Kevin, Stephanie, Ashley, Izabella, Oscar, Cherlyn, Alexander, Brianna, Alejandro, Angel, Amelia, Roman, J.J., Jayvian, Juelz, Jayleen, Jaynelle, Anaira, Aillen, Santiago, Samuel, Arabella and Gianna.

1 sister Maria (the late Juan) Aguirre, and 3 brothers; Juan, Jose (the late Theodara) and Chuy (Angela).

Antonio is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Susana, a daughter Maria Elena, 3 sisters; Fernanda (the late Panfilo) Aguirre, Baldamera (the late Gregorio) Aguirre, Eulalitia (the late Antonio) and 2 brothers Cruz (the late Antonia) and Santiago (the late Elodia) And a granddaughter Cindy Prado.

Family will be greeting guests Wednesday January 21, 2026 from 3pm until the time of service at 7pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway in Montgomery. Burial will take place in Durango, Mexico. For guestbook and directions, visit www.dieterlememorialhome.

Antonio Aguirre Ramírez, de 95 años, residente de Elgin, falleció en su hogar el sábado 10 de enero de 2026, rodeado del amor de su familia. Nació el 1 de marzo de 1930 en El Zape, Durango, México; hijo de Tomás Aguirre Salgado y Soledad Ramírez Ríos. Antonio fue agricultor por más de 60 años. Disfrutaba trabajar con aparatos electrónicos, arreglar automóviles y cuidar de sus animales, tanto de granja como domésticos; pero lo que más disfrutaba era pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos.

Le sobreviven dos hijas: Juana (Miguel) Prado y Lidia (Ignacio) Aguirre; y cuatro hijos: Félix (Luz Elena), Epifanio (Rosa), Lorenzo (Alicia) y Fernando (Lilia).

También le sobreviven 20 nietos: Lizeth, María Elena, Alma, Peter,Leticia, Tatiana, Isaac, Yolanda, Zusi, Marta, Antonio, Jessica, Miguel Antonio, Emanuel, Jesús, Moisés, Evelyn, Nayeli, Adrián y Génesis.

Además, deja 34 bisnietos: Yandel, Alan, Catalina, Joshua, Andrew, Lucía, Dalilah, Sofía, Olivia, Mathew, Jesús, Kevin, Stephanie, Ashley, Izabella, Óscar, Cherlyn, Alexander, Brianna, Alejandro, Ángel, Amelia, Román, J.J., Jayvian, Juelz, Jayleen, Jaynelle, Anaira, Aillen, Santiago, Samuel, Arabella y Gianna.

Le sobrevive una hermana, María (el fallecido Juan) Aguirre; y tres hermanos: Juan, José (la fallecida Teodara) y Chuy (Ángela).

Antonio fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, su amada esposa Susana, una hija María Elena; tres hermanas: Fernanda (el fallecido Pánfilo) Aguirre, Baldamera (el fallecido Gregorio) Aguirre y Eulalitia (el fallecido Antonio); así como dos hermanos: Cruz (la fallecida Antonia) y Santiago (la fallecida Elodia)and a Nieta Cindy Prado.

La familia recibirá a los visitantes el miércoles 21 de enero de 2026, de 3:00 p. m. hasta la hora del servicio a las 7:00 p. m., en Dieterle Memorial Home, ubicado en 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery.
