Antonio Trevino, fondly known as "Tony", 77 of Richmond, Texas passed away on March 7, 2024 at home surrounded by family. He was born on February 2, 1947 in Houston, Texas to Guadalupe Trevino and Trinidad Espinoza Trevino. He was a faithful member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Richmond where he was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. Tony was instrumental in getting monthly barbeques, fish frys and tamale sales organized at the church.
Tony honorably served our country in the U.S. Army. He was very active with American Legion Post #942 in Sugar Land.
Tony was an avid sports fan, whether he was playing golf or cheering on his beloved Houston Astros and Texans. He also enjoyed cooking, grilling and spending time with his family and friends. He was always the Life of the Party. This loving husband, father and friend will truly be missed.
In addition to his parents, Tony is preceded in death by siblings, Gilbert Trevino, Mercedes Hinojosa and Richard Trevino; and brother-in-law, Joe Kirk.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Wallie J. Trevino; son, Marc Trevino; siblings, Elizabeth Paramo, Raymond Trevino, David Trevino and Rose Trevino; sister-in-law, Bea Kirk; along with a host of extended family and many, many friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2024 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Deacon Brick Hodge will lead a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Richmond, Texas. Fr. Jose Luis Gutierrez will officiate the service.
For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Richmond, Texas.
