Antonio Veltri

Antonio Veltri, 93, of Norwood NJ, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Rosina Veltri (nee Osso), loving father of Susan Veltri and adored grandfather of Cassandra Lobo. Beloved son of the late Teresa Porco and late Michele Veltri. Dear brother of the late Salvatore and Giuseppe Veltri. Also survived by many brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews, and dear friends.

Antonio was born in Belmonte Calabro, a province of Cosenza, Italy, on September 25, 1932. He spent much of his childhood growing up in Belmonte and at the age of 16, he immigrated to Buenos Aires, Argentina where he began his adulthood. He happily married his wife, Rosina, in Argentina, in December of 1960. Together, they immigrated to the United States where they started a family. Antonio worked in construction for 40 years in New York City, he was deeply passionate for his work and his honor.

Antonio's greatest achievements in life were raising a beautiful family and his home and land in Italy. Year after year, he brought his family to Belmonte, to the home he was so proud to call his. Antonio loved walking the land, picking fresh figs and prunes, and making his daily espresso with cookies every afternoon. To know him was to love him. Antonio always carried himself with dignity and honor. He was greatly cherished by his whole family, especially his wife, daughter, and granddaughter, and will be missed dearly.
