Antonio Versace Jr.

Antonio Versace Jr of Binghamton went to Heaven on January 25, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents Antonio Versace Sr and Maria Concetta Versace. Antonio is survived by his wife Maria Rosetta Versace and son Antonio Versace III, Binghamton; three grandchildren, Vanessa and Angela Versace, Christina Gonzalez (Jose) and great grand-daughter, Celeste; a cousin, and many nieces and nephews. Antonio was born in Bagnara, Calabria, Italy and immigrated to the US in 1947. He went to vocational school and took up carpentry. Antonio was a Korean Veteran who served in the US Army and learned his trade as a heavy equipment operator and worked for construction contractors. Antonio enjoyed spending time with his family whom he loved very much. He liked bowling and music, he played the accordion, entertaining family, and friends. He will be greatly missed by his family, who loved him very much.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 preceded by a viewing at 10:00 on Thursday February 1st at St. Francis Church, 1031 Chenango St., Binghamton, entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are by Albert J. DeMarco in care of the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME INC. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton.
