Apolinar "Polo" Martínez, de 47 años, de Brownsville, Texas, esposo, padre, hermano y amigo devoto, entró en el descanso eterno el 3 de noviembre de 2025, a las 3:15 p. m., en el Valley Baptist Medical Center, rodeado de su querida familia. Nació en H. Matamoros, Tamaulipas, el 3 de abril de 1978.

Le precedió en la muerte su padre, Apolinar Martínez (†).

Dejan para recordar su memoria su esposa, Elva K. Martínez; sus hijos, Karol Martínez, Raymundo Martínez y Mauricio Martínez; y su madre, Blanca Estela Rosales.

A Polo le apasionaba cantar, bailar y hacer reír a la gente. Era el alma de la fiesta. Amaba su trabajo como cocinero y tocaba el corazón de todas las personas que conocía. Todos admiraban su amor por la vida. Se le echará mucho de menos.

Apolinar "Polo" Martinez, 47, of Brownsville, TX, devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, entered eternal rest on November 3rd, 2025, at 3:15 p.m. at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in H. Matamoros, Tamaulipas on April 3rd, 1978.

He is preceded in death by his father, Apolinar Martinez (†)

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Elva K. Martinez; his children, Karol Martinez, Raymundo Martinez, and Mauricio Martinez; and his mother, Blanca Estela Rosales.

Polo had a passion for singing, dancing, and enjoyed making people laugh. He was the life of the party. He loved his job as a cook and touched every heart of the people he met. His love for life was admired by all. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will take place at 6:00 p.m. Services conclude at the end of the evening.
