Beloved wife of 47 years to Diosdado; loving mother of Edwin (Enida), Haydee (Greg) Martin, Lionel (Cathy); cherished grandmother to Jenna (Jason) Mendoza, Shane (Casey), Jordan (John), Jessica (Michael) Flatley, Brandon, Danny Martin, and Jack Martin; beloved great-grandmother to Landon, Mariela, Micah, Logan, and Charles; fond sister of Angelita (Roberto) Reyes, Ricardo (Nieves) Bacani, Vicente Jr. (the late Rita) Bacani, Lourdes (Bernardo) Laxa, and Diosdado (Gloria) Bacani; devoted aunt of many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Visitation March 30, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Tohle Funeral Home, 4325 W. Lawrence Ave. Chicago 60630. Family and friends are asked to meet at St. Edwards 4350 W. Sunnyside Ave. Chicago 60630 on March 31, 2023 for the funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles. In lieu of flowers, donations towards masses in remembrance of Apolonia to St. Edwards Church, 4350 W. Sunnyside Ave. Chicago 60630, are appreciated.

Apolonia Bacani Garcia, 87, passed away peacefully at home on March 25, 2023. Born in Becuran, Santa Rita, Pampanga to the late Vicente Bacani Sr. and Ambrocia (née Cruz). Apolonia married Diosdado on September 20, 1959. She immigrated to Chicago in August 1976.
