Apostle Stephen Horton, age 61, of 441 Dead Road, Bunn, North Carolina formerly of Wilson, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.  A celebration of life will be Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Evening Light Holiness Church, 208 South Pender St., Wilson North Carolina. Interment will be private.

A public viewing will be Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC. The family is receiving friends at 4527 Old Faison Road, Knightdale, NC and will assemble there at 1:15 pm on Sunday in preparaation for the funeral procession.

We were in art class together in the tenth grade. Stephen was such a model Christian that I dubbed him "Reverend Horton" !
