April Michelle Beasley, age 50, a cherished resident of Guyton, GA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1st, 2026, at Candler Hospital in Savannah, after a brief illness. Born on December 2nd, 1975, in Savannah, GA, April spent the majority of her life in Guyton, nurturing a close-knit community that will deeply miss her loving presence.
April was a proud member of the Effingham County High School class of 1996. Known for her warm heart and generous nature, April had a passion for fishing and gardening, spending countless hours enjoying the simple pleasures of nature. Her love for these hobbies was only surpassed by her deep devotion to her family, whom she cherished above all else.
April loved to dance and found joy in the melodies of country and gospel music, and she could often be found singing along with a smile on her face. She loved watching Wheel of Fortune and her skills at playing cards were admired by her family. Cooking and sharing cups of coffee with her mother filled her days with laughter and happiness, creating countless beautiful memories that will be cherished forever. April had a deep love for animals and loved her two dogs, Moose and Bo who crossed the Rainbow Bridge years ago.
April was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Ernest Beasley; her Grandma and Papa Morgan, Nanny and Papa Beasley; her uncle, Danny Skipper, her aunt, Marian Martin, her uncle, Gerald Morgan, her uncle Robert Johnson, her uncle, Mike Alexander, her uncle, Tommy Beasley.
Survivors include her mother, Grace Louise Morgan Beasley of Guyton, GA; her brothers, Alan W. Skipper (Jordan Sears) of Statesboro, GA and Philip D. Skipper of Guyton, GA; her aunts and uncles, Sandra M. Skipper (Robert Chance) of Guyton, GA; Thomas (Fran) Morgan of Guyton, GA., Charles (Ruthann) Morgan of Rincon, GA., Alicia Morgan of Rincon, and George Martin of Guyton, GA., Maxine (JR) Ewing of Alabama, Ann Alexander of Metter, GA, Patsy Johnson of Metter, GA and Brenda (Bobby) Brazell of Faulkville, GA.; and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home Effingham Chapel. 2460 Hwy. 21 South, Rincon, GA 31326.
The funeral service will be held Monday at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home Effingham Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Springfield Cemetery Annex.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Kennedy Funeral Homes-Metter.
