April is held deep in the hearts of her loving husband of 20 years, Michael Rene Castro; her children, Rene Martinez, Jr., and his wife, Rosa Gonzales, Joe Christopher Martinez, Marissa Renee Rodriguez, and her husband Nicholas Jacob; her precious grandchildren, Isaiah, Gilliana, Aaliyah, Laurianne, Luis, Ariana, Angel, Antonio, Jayden, Bryan, Cayde; her daughters-in-law, Brianna Ortiz, Vanessa Aleman; her close cousins, Melinda Zuniga and Melissa Rodriguez; many other cousins, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas.
Services will conclude at the close of the chapel on Saturday. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of April, please visit our floral store.

April and I were close for quit sometime but we drifted , but she was always in my heart. I'm so sad to see my friend gone. My heart goes out to you Micheal and her children and grandbabies. My deepest condolences to you all.
