On Sunday, October 6th, 2024, April Ann Salas Holt passed away at her home in Paradise, Texas at the age of 41. 

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.

Inurnment: Memory Gardens of the Valley following the service.

April was born March 6th, 1983 in Abilene, Texas to Roxie and Joe Salas. April grew up in Plainview, Texas and graduated from Plainview High School. From a young age she became a strong, independent woman who loved life. She was fiercely protective of her friends and family, always willing to be a smiling face or a kind voice to anyone in need. She loved fast cars, mudding, taking care of her farm animals and naming each one with the help of her daughter, Laney. April worked as a buyer professionally, but her real passion and greatest love was being a mother to Laney. Her daughter was the center of April’s world. She poured her heart and soul into raising a beautiful daughter with the same fiery spirit and larger than life personality.

April was preceded in death by her father, Joe Salas; cousin, Eddie Don Salas; Stepbrother, Jacob Munoz; and maternal and paternal grandparents. 

She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Laney Burrow; her mother, Roxie Munoz, and stepfather David; sister, Angel Moore and husband, Jason; stepbrother, David Lee Munoz and wife, Cathy; husband, Jacob Holt; and step-children, Alex, Avery and Andrew; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
