With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Araceli "Ara" Lopez, who left us peacefully on October 1, 2025. Born on May 9, 1962, Ara was a beacon of light, displaying generosity, kindness, and unity in her daily life. She touched the hearts of many with her happy, warm, loving, funny, and caring personality.

Araceli is survived by her loving husband, Maximiliano Lopez, her devoted children – Ashley Lopez, Maximiliano Lopez Jr., and Veronica Lopez. She leaves behind a cherished legacy in her grandchildren – Andres Munguia, Anmari Lopez, Alene Lopez, and Alina Olmos. Ara also leaves behind her sisters, Estela Soriano, and Luz Olivas, and her brother Ignacio Bejarano. She was predeceased by her parents, Alberto and Angelica Bejarano and her two brothers, Manuel and Alberto Bejarano.

Among Ara's many passions, crocheting stood out. She crafted baby blankets for nearly everyone she knew, transforming this hobby into one of her greatest accomplishments. A woman of strength, Ara taught us to love one another despite our differences. She found joy in caring for her family, friends, and community, and embraced her role in their lives with pride and joy.
