Arnold Ortiz Bejarano passed away at his home Friday, November 21, 2025, at the age of 95 surrounded by his family.
Graveside services will be held at South Park Cemetery, at 2 pm, on December 3, 2025.
Arnold was born December 28, 1929 to Juan and Lillie Bejarano in Del Rio, Texas.
Arnold served in the National Guard for 8 years and the Army Reserve for 40 years where he retired as Staff Sergeant E7, in 1995.
He worked as a mechanic for 41 years. He also loved hunting and fishing, and he was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
Arnold is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Lillie Bejarano; his wife, Letha Archuleta Bejarano; Sons, John Bejarano and ((wife) Patsy Bejarano, David Bejarano Flores; grandson, Manuel Montes.
He is survived by his children; Delores and husband Raul Villa of Roswell, NM; Regina Bejarano of Roswell, NM; Anna and husband Johnny Chavez of Roswell, NM; Arnold R. and Lucia Bejarano of Roswell, NM; Robert M. and Shana Bejarano of Las Cruces, NM; Gilbert and Becky Bejarano of Idalou, Texas; Edward Bejarano of Norman, Oklahoma; and Danny and Deanna Bejarano of White Deer, Texas.
Sisters; Nancy Melton of Albuquerque, NM; Mary Carey of Albuquerque, NM and Ginny Bejarano of Albuquerque, NM. Brother; Robert and Minerva Bejarano of Las Cruces, NM. Several nieces and nephews, 28 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and special friends Mark and Shirley Madsen.
