Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and matriarch, passed away on February 3rd, 2025. She was surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. Born on February 19, 1946 in Montemorelos, Nuevo León, Mexico. Celia, as she was affectionately known, was married to the late Eliezer Agustin Aldape Sr. for 46 years and is survived by her children, Juana Rodriguez, Flora & Brian L. Williams, Bertha & Rodrigo M. Fernandez Sr., Eliezer A. & Nancy Aldape, Carlos & Jessy Aldape, Aracely & Rolando Serrano. Cherished grandmother of Adriana (Josh) Rivera, Jose E. (Bianca) Rodriguez Jr, Kiara N. (Daniel) Rodriguez, Kaci Ashten Williams, Estela Cristina Williams, Brian Lester Williams II, Rodrigo M. (Tiffany) Fernandez II, Javier Eliezer (Skyler) Fernandez, Omar V. (Zuzel) Fernandez, Pierre (Rosa) Garcia, Nicholas (Josie) Plana, Thomas Plana, Eliezer A. Aldape III, Carlos Lino Aldape, Joslyn (Matt) Knight, Carlos Aldape Jr., Salma (Luis) Serrano, Rolando Serrano II, Jesus Serrano, Sosimo Serrano; and her great-grandchildren, Julian Rivera, Josh Rivera Jr., Jiovanni Rivera, Jonathan Rivera, Luis Corral, *Selena Corral (2/2025), and Greer Everlyn Williams. Her warmth, laughter, and love will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and will conclude with a prayer service from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Casey & Rios Funeral Home, 4540 Diversey Ave, Chicago IL, 60639.
