Archie was a retired military veteran of 21 years with Honors. He was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church in Powell, TN. Archie was an avid reader and spent much of his time studying the Bible.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Ralph Fritts; mother, Carrie Velma Fritts; and brother Gary Stephen Fritts (married to Donna Fritts).
Archie is survived by his wife, Beverly Fritts; children, Lesley Dianne Kovarik (Glynn Kovarik) of Oklahoma City, OK, Adam Christopher Fritts (Shoni Fritts) of Gilbert, SC, Amy Michelle Singh of Rincon, GA, Sarah Nicole Young (Ernie Young) of Cabot, AR; Beverly's daughter, Jennifer Wagner (Danny Wagner) of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Sandra Anita Fritts, and Patricia Deane Bennett (John Bennett); mother of his children, Shirley Kaye Alexander; grandchildren, Heather Michelle Singh, Melissa Nicole Macklunis, Adam Chandler Fritts, Samantha Gresham, Morgan Johnson, Eli Young, and Cody Wagner; and great-grandchildren, Anjali Singh, Aliyah Singh, Emma Macklunis, Emma Gresham, Donald Gresham, Autumn Johnson, and Lorelai Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project, or to Grace Baptist Church, 7171 Oak Ridge Hwy #2730, Knoxville, TN 37931.

Archie, was a great friend and classmate. We were all so close back then and cared for each other. We were so glad we could share more memories at our class luncheons and missed him very much when he wasn't able to come. Prayers to his family. He will be missed!!
