Dear Nana,
I'am so glad that I was with you as you passed on to be with the rest of your loved ones (Nana K. John K. and Grampy R.) I will always remember your last words to me and Denice on June 29, 2004 as We left your room we said to you "Nana I love you" and you replied "I love you both" knowing it took all your breathe to say that means the world to me.....I will miss your calls and calling you to hear you say to me "Oh Hi Tracy Dear it was nice for you to call and check on me".
Nana, I know your resting in peace and now feel no pain.....
All my Love, Your Grandaughter Tracy xoxoxoxoxox you would always leave hugs and kisses on my cards..

I am sorry that I (we) can't be with the family in Massachusetts to share in this sorrow and celebrate the joys and memorable moments of her life. She was always full of fun stories and had a great sense of humor. My youngest daughter, Nicole, sharing in the same spirit of humor, lovingly referred to her as 'Banana Muffin' instead of 'Nana Ruffin.' Nana got a huge kick out of it! She will be missed.

Ardell Ruffin is my maternal grandmother. My childhood is filled with many joyous memories of the holidays we shared. As a young teen, I fondly remember our lunches together. Somehow, having a simple sandwich with Nana was always special. She took the time to ask about my life and shared in my joys and sorrows. I will cherish our long phone chats after I moved to Arizona. She will be missed by all. I love you, Nana.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Ardell/Mom/Nana. She was a very special lady and always made me feel like part of your family.
I regret that I cannot make the trip to Massachusetts for her services but it is just not possible right now; please know that you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
Blessings and hugs to all of you,
