Ardena L. Ray, age 62, of Raccoon, Ky., passed away Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Ardena was born on Feb. 7, 1963 to her parents the late Willie Clevinger and Jerlene Hite Clevinger. She was the wife of Johnny Ray, a retired legal secretary for over 25 years, and co owner of J & A Truck Parts. Ardena was also a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, Ardena was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Rocky.
Along with her husband, Ardena is survived by two sisters, her beloved dog, Job, and her entire church family at Brushy Creek Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025 at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with John George Blackburn and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana.
