Skyvue Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens - MansfieldIt is with bittersweet feelings we announce the passing onto eternal life of Ardia Ruth Kentfield on November 27, 2025. She waited for her family to all be together. Bitter because of the momentary grief and pain that is felt with her absence on earth. We are far more grateful to have much more loving sweet memories to cherish and celebrate each of our time with her. We know she is at God's perfect peace lacking nothing and after our brief time on earth we will again join her. in everlasting life.
Ardia loved her work as a diagnostician, crafting, gardening, traveling, and especially her family & friends. She loved life and lived it to the fullest as long as she could. She was a helper. Up to her last days she was motivating other patients in therapy, in classic Ardia style, to do their exercises. Mr. Rogers said look for the helpers. She was a helper! But more importantly she instilled in people to be a helper.
Ardia's love for gardening was much greater than her physical garden at home. She planted seeds of love and faith in God. Seeds of unconditional love and truth in her family that continue to grow, spread, and bear fruit. Fruit that will never die nor wither. That is her greatest garden.
Ardia also loved to travel and learn. She knew how the brain functioned and did her best to keep it firing and active as long as she could. She now is on the greatest travel excursion beyond this lifetime. I am sure she is joyful not to have to pack or take off her shoes anymore!
Ardia was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Julia Raymond; sister, Fren Raymond.
Survivors: Son, Christopher Cash and wife Catherine; sister, Norma Raymond; grandchildren, David Cash, Cathleen -Jayle Lemes and Courtney Cash; The Raymonds, The Richards, The Cashes, The Lemese and The Delps.
