Skyvue Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens - MansfieldBryce Kirby DePriest, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and skilled craftsman, passed away on December 4, 2025, in Stephenville, Texas, at the age of 62.
Born on December 28, 1962, in Fort Worth, Texas, Bryce was the son of Gordon DePriest and Juanda Jo Henderson. He graduated from Crowley High School.
Bryce was a true "Jack of All Trades." He excelled as a contractor specializing in home remodeling and as a skilled boat mechanic.
Bryce retired in Comanche, Texas. He cherished time with his family and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and smoking meats, especially at the lake with loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon DePriest and Juanda Jo Henderson; his brothers, Bruce and Kenny DePriest; his grandson, Clint Lee Jr.; and his wife, Barbara Jones.
Bryce is lovingly survived by his wife, Elaine DePriest.
He leaves behind a loving legacy in his children: Tiffany Villarreal (Henry), Shanda DePriest, Amanda Rawdon (Jones), Christy Chesser, Billy DePriest (Laura), Bubba Jones (Carrie), and Shane Jones (Kristin). He is also survived by his Uncle Dick Busick and Aunt Fawn Gayle DePriest.
Bryce was a beloved grandfather to Triston, TayLee, and Telyn Williams; Shaelee Rainwater; Cheyenne, Bear, Cade, Kamden, Laurabeth, Resa, and Scarlett DePriest; Fayth and Reid Fenn; Kayden Gillespie; Baylee, Kylee, and Landry Jones; Brittni Camell; Austen and Matthew Lee; Zac, Dottie, Stetson, and Skylar Chesser; Abbey Dolberry; and Slade Allen.
He was a proud great-grandfather to Trayson and Tripp Williams; Ryder Sickles; Odyn, Karyn, and Jaydence Miller; Sage DePriest; River Fenn; and Jonah Chesser.
He will also be dearly missed by his sister-in-law, Carrie DePriest; his nephew, Dustin DePriest; and his niece, Mandy McDonald.
Bryce will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on December 19 at 11:00 AM at Skyvue Memorial Park, followed by a graveside service at Laurel Land at 12:45
