Ardith Anderson Bradford, age 84, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, in West Haven, Utah. She was born on October 8, 1940, in Sutherland and lived a life devoted to faith, family, and service.
Ardith was the beloved wife of Boyd Bradford, her eternal companion and sweetheart. Together they shared 67 years of unwavering love, laughter, and devotion. Their marriage was a true partnership—built on faith, trust, and an endless commitment to one another. Side by side, they created a home filled with warmth and joy, raising a family that became the very heart of Ardith’s world. Their love story was not only an inspiration to their children but also to all who knew them.
She is survived by her husband Boyd and their children: Boyd Lee (Lisa) Roseville, CA, Scott (Monica) of Roy UT, Sherie Thornton-Moss (Curtis) of Roy UT, Mark (Laura) of Brentwood CA, Brad (Tracy) of Oakley, CA, Jolene of Stockton CA, Amy Weaver (Jarod) of Sandy UT, Valerie Gordon (Russell) Germantown MD, Chris (Laena) of Sandy UT, Dustin (Julie) of Riverton UT, and Michael (Hollie) of Charlotte NC. Ardith’s legacy also lives on through her 50 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.
She is also survived by her wonderful sister Rae Shepherd.
Preceded in death were her parents, Otto Lee Anderson and Alta Dorcus Peterson; siblings Clair, Beryl, Ralph, Ilene, Roland, Ronald, and Marcia; her son-in-law Jeffery Thornton; and her cherished grandson, Trever Bradford.
A lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ardith served faithfully in many callings throughout her life. She gave generously of her time and energy to those around her, always leading with kindness and devotion to her faith.
Ardith’s life was one of quiet strength, tender love, and lasting influence. Although life was very chaotic as a mother of 11. The values she instilled in her family and community will continue to guide and inspire for generations to come.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with viewing prior from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3776 W 5375 S. Roy, Utah.
Interment will follow at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 N Monroe Blvd.
