Ardith M. Tuttle, a beloved soul who graced this world with her kindness and unwavering love for her children, peacefully passed away on June 14, 2024. Born on August 24, 1927, in Brooklyn, NY to her parents Paul and Hazel Richmond. She will forever be remembered for the warmth she shared and the love she radiated.
Ardith touched the lives of many with her gentle spirit and caring nature. She obtained her high school diploma and went to create a beautiful home with her late husband, Clinton Tuttle, who she was married to for over 70 years. Together, they nurtured their children and created a home filled with love and compassion. If Ardith wasn't spending her time making her delicious meals, she would spend her time traveling or tending to her gardening.
Ardith is predeceased by her husband Clinton Tuttle (2021), and her parents Paul and Hazel. She is survived by her loving son Gregory (his wife Beverly) Tuttle and devoted daughter Arzel (her husband Fred) Tuttle-Mestrandea. Her legacy lives on through her grandsons David Tuttle and Pamela Tuttle. Although she has departed from this world, her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
The visitation in memory of Ardith M. Tuttle will be held at Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Words of remembrance will be held at the same location starting at 7:30 PM. Closing prayers will take place on June 20, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home for those who wish to pay their final respects. A burial will follow immediately after at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
In honoring Ardith's life, let us cherish the memories we shared with her and carry forward the love and kindness she so generously bestowed upon us all. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she was cherished beyond words and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
