Ardray Lee Mason Jr. was born to Francis Peeler and Ardray Lee Mason Sr. on December 16, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana at Methodist Hospital. He attended Washington Junior High in Pontiac Michigan and Indianapolis Public Schools.

Ardray was a chef for professional sports teams and restaurants. He also worked in various other cooking professions as well. However, that didn’t stop him from being a jack of all trades. He would do anything he put his mind to do.

Ardray, known to many as Dray or Ardy, was a man who spread love, joy, and laughter. He enjoyed cooking for those whom he loved, especially barbequing. He was that family member at the cookout who was on the grill with a cigarette and a nice cold beer. He always knew that no matter what, family was family. His beloved mother taught him the importance of unity within the family.

Ardray was blessed to meet many amazing people who have enriched his journey of life. Those relationships got him through tough days and helped him celebrate joyous days.

Ardray Lee Mason Jr. at age 62, departed this life on Sunday, June 23, 2024. He was preceded in death by his Father Ardray Lee Mason Sr. His Grandparents; George Dewey and Atchie Renee’ Thompson. His loving Mother; Francis Peeler and his beloved bonus father William H. Durham. His Brother Kevin Cobb. His Grandchild Lemarr Hunt Jr.

Ardray shall continue to live and be loved in memories through his Children; Ardraya Mason, Dray Mason, Ebony Robinson, Adrayana Mason, and Majestic Mason. His Brothers; William H. Durham, Moncelle Durham, and Chun D. Peeler. His Sisters; Sherice Durham Manning, and Laura Peeler.
