Ardyth Naomi Hoffhines

Ardyth Naomi Hoffhines, aged 89, passed away on July 23, 2024. She was born on March 28,1935 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to James Ervin and Viney Yarbrough. Ardyth was the youngest in a family of six children. After she graduated from high school in Lindsay, OK. Ardyth moved to Oklahoma City. Through friends she was introduced to Charles Ford and they were married. In 1968 the couple welcomed David into their home and their family was complete. They were happily married until his untimely passing. She found herself a single parent. Ardyth worked many jobs to provide for herself and David. She worked two and three jobs at a time to make ends meet. She instilled a strong work ethic in her son David as they took on life together. The joy of her life arrived in 1994 in the form of a little girl named Rachael Taylor Ford. She loved her granddaughter and was a constant presence in her life. She met Max Hoffhines and they were happily married for many years. Ardyth was a proud member of Village Baptist Church for over 40 years. She loved spending with family and friends. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Gina Ford of Yukon Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Rachael and Buddy Reed of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and Abigail Stramski of Jones, Oklahoma: and her great grandson James Reed of Choctaw, Oklahoma; She is also survived by her sister Betty Holliday, of Oklahoma City; along with many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many wonderful friends.
