Ariell Denise Appleton, born on September 26, 1990, in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024, A bright light in the lives of many, Ariell was known for her beautiful, caring, and loving spirit, which everyone she encountered.
Ariell enjoyed a fulfilling career at an insurance company, and also she dedicated herself to providing health care to the elderly with her commitment to making a positive difference in her community. Her professional journey was accompanied by a passion for the arts; she proudly played the violin during her time at Redan High School and revelled in her love of dance.
In her personal life, Ariell embraced every moment with joy. She had a fondness for karaoke, and her lively spirit shone through in her love of singing and dancing. Ariell also had a dream to learn how to become a tattoo artist, reflecting her creative aspirations and her desire to express herself artistically.
Ariell is survived by her beloved family including her Mother, Valerie D. Appleton; her other Mother, Delane Davis Appleton, her Grandmother, Lena Butler; Her Partner, Sarah Watters, Nana, Armeather Boatwright; Aunt, Charlotte Harris; Brothers, Julian Wellington and Ulysses Burriss; and a host of extended family including Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and numerous friends who will dearly miss her presence.
She was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Loretta Dot Holt, great grandfather, Luther Holt, her grandmother, Ida, grandfather, George Butler, grand parent, Lawrence and Mildred Boatwright. Their memories will remain a cherished part of her legacy.
Visitation will be held on November 8, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, GA 30064.
Ariell Denise Appleton will be remembered not just for her accomplishments but for the joy and love she brought into the lives of those around her. Her memory will forever inspire us to live fully and passionately, just as she did.
