Arlene Kuchem Obituary
She was born Oct. 18, 1934, in Washington, daughter of the late Harry A. Siedhoff and wife Caroline, nee Lause. Arlene was married to the love of her life, Victor, for 67 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Augusta, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Augusta and volunteered at several local charitable organizations.
Arlene is survived by seven children, Douglas (Sally) Kuchem, Fort Worth, Texas, Carol (Rick) Rechtien, St. Charles, Richard (Donna) Kuchem, Augusta, Mary (Don) Mueller, Union, Vicki (Rich) Terschluse, Washington, Timothy (Debra) Kuchem, Dutzow, and Steven (Chris) Kuchem, Augusta; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor, Aug. 25, 2022, and eight siblings and their spouses, Ethel Patke and husband Al, Ruth Straatmann and husband Herb, Edith Heimann and husband Norbert, Harry Siedhoff Jr. and wife June Scheer Siedhoff, Gilbert Siedhoff and wife Eunice Brinkmann Siedhoff, Maurice Siedhoff and wife Della Mayhew Siedhoff, Virgil Siedhoff and wife Elsie Sieve Siedhoff, and Betty Laune and husband Conrad.
Arlene will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 20, from 3-7 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 5542 Walnut Street, Augusta, MO 63332.
A funeral Mass will be held Friday, April 21, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Augusta.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Meals on Wheels in Franklin County or Masses at Immaculate Conception Church, Augusta.
The Kuchem family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Augusta.
