Mrs. Arlene Grindstaff Lemon, age 85, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Loris Rehab and Nursing Center. Born on February 29, 1940, in Newport, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William Crawford Grindstaff and the late Mattie Jane Roberts Grindstaff. Mrs. Lemon had a passion for crafting, crocheting, and tatting; and she was also a faithful Mormon.
Survivors include her son, David Leon Neal (Janice); daughter, Sherrie Ann Keen; five grandchildren, Keirsten McNew (Rick), Tyler Neal (Brandi), Thomas Lackey (Mariah), Jay Thomas (Josh), and Nicholas Thomas (Megan); 12 loving great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Carl Grindstaff.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lemon was predeceased by her son, Roy Victor Lemon; son-in-law, Lawrence Edward Keen, Sr.; and granddaughter, Monica Thomas.
