Arlene Alice (Bock) Ogé, 80, of Westworth Village, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 2, 2023, after battling a long illness.
Arlene was born in Glendale, California on September 20, 1942, and resided in Westworth Village for the past 55 years. Arlene was proud to be able to be a stay-at-home mother and pour into her children. Arlene's greatest love was her family, and all her children were proud to call her mom. Her passion to see her children succeed can be seen in her dedication to volunteering at her children's school in PTA, being a room mother, a Cub Scout Den mother, and a Boy Scout Den leader. Arlene was a longtime member of Connell Baptist Church in Fort Worth where she and her husband made sure that her children heard God's Word.
Arlene had a fun spirit and was the life of the party. She wanted to make everyone smile and was always making sure that everyone around her was having fun. Arlene enjoyed writing poetry, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with her family.
Arlene is preceded in death by her father and mother, Edward and Alice Bock, and her sister, Carol Young.
Survivors: Her husband of 59 years, Kenneth Ogé of Westworth Village; and her seven children, Kenny, Danny (Tina), John, Jimmy (Jennifer), Andy (Lorraine), Julie Haley (Jeremy), and Kimberly Hearne; her eight grandchildren, Joshua, Justin, Logan, Kelton, Jillian, RaeLynn, Noelle, and Tobias; as well as one great granddaughter, Pressley. She is also survived by her siblings, Joe Bock, Mary Higgins, and Cindy Bock.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m., Monday, February 13, 2023, at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126. Celebration of Life: 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Winscott Road Funeral Home. A private Interment will follow the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
