Arlene Courtney Etz Rock,74, of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025. She was predeceased by her parents, George E. Etz Jr. and Alice C. Etz; her husband, Louis R. Rock; sisters, Betty E. Ligon and Brenda E. Spady; and her niece, Rebecca D. Wheatley.
Arlene is survived by sisters, Sue E. Canady and Linda D. Wheatley; nieces and nephews, Julie Mathews, Peyton Ellenor (Jack), Allison Craven, Benjamin Clayton, and George Ligon (Alisha); Stepson, Ronald Rock (Marie); granddaughter, Jayla Harmon and her mother, Jordan Harmon; and numerous nephews.
A memorial service will be held, Saturday, January 18, 2025, 2:00 PM, at Lower Northampton Baptist Church, with Barry Downing and Reverend Jeff Conrow officiating. Friends and family are invited to the social hall after services conclude.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or the Alzheimer’s Association of the Eastern Shore 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
