Arlene Rushing Obituary
She is survived by her sons, Todd A. Rushing of Juneau, AK, and Tim J.Rushing (Karen) of Turlock, CA, as well as her grandchildren, Scott J. Rushing of San Diego, CA, and Kacie M. Rushing of Turlock, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Brooks J. Rushing, and her brothers.
Arlene taught elementary school throughout the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s and was deeply respected by her students and colleagues.
A Rosary will be held at Allen Mortuary on February 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service on February 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A reception will follow at the Holiday Inn Express.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at https://donorservices.alz.org.

Arlene thanks to you for visiting our home in Juneau, Alaska. It was our honor to enjoy a simple meal with you and your wonderful son Todd on that trip. Your grace and presence made it clear Todd's mom was so kind and special. Marty and I feel a great pleasure to have known you. Please say hi to Kaya for us as you journey through heaven.
