Arlene L. Savitz

Arlene Laura (Weinstein) Savitz, age 87, born in Brooklyn, NY on January 6, 1938, passed away in her home in Tamarac, Florida on April 24th, 2025.
Arlene's biggest accomplishment was raising her three children and always putting the needs of others ahead of herself. Arlene was an excellent cook, loved movies, flowers, animals including her dog Kobe and was a passionate reader. A woman of few words, she always gave a listening ear and great advice when asked.
Arlene is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Stella Weinstein. She is survived by her children Debra Savitz, Rene (Savitz) Werner, and Robert Savitz (Wife UU), six grandchildren including Wade, Justine, Kiera, Kendall, Daniel and Asher along with her great-grandchildren Kayden and Alyssa. She is also survived by her sister Karen (Weinstein) Bedell and her brothers Morris and Philip Weinstein along with many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her longtime partner, Jon Lamb.
A Chapel service will be at 12:00 p.m. at I.J. Morris Funeral Home, 21 E Deer Park Rd, Dix Hills, NY 11746 and following the service there will be the committal/internment at Mount Ararat cemetery, 1165 Route 109, Lindenhurst New York 11757.
