Age 90 passed away Friday November 14, 2025, at Lightways Hospice Home in Joliet. A resident of the Carillon Community of Plainfield for the past 29 years, formerly of Berwyn. Arlene is survived by her loving children Scott (Judy) Sladek, and Sharon (Tom) Kulawiak; sister Barbara (Tom) Wozniak; grandchildren Lauren (Spencer) Lemm, and Jordan (fiancée Bob Thorell) Kulawiak; great grandson Jackson Lemm, also numerous nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by her loving husband Frank Sladek; parents Walter and Marie Swiatek and a brother Arthur (Rochelle) Swiatek. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation Saturday November 29, 2025, from 12 pm until the time of her memorial service to begin 4 pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield, IL 60544. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Lightways Hospice (www.lightways.org) appreciated.
