Eugene J. Peretti "Geno"
Age 66 passed away Tuesday November 4, 2025, at Edward Hospital in Naperville. Geno was a proud US Navy Veteran. He retired from the USPS in Forest Park in 2013. As a native Chicagoan, he resided in the Andover Association of the Carillon Community in Plainfield for the past 30 years. Within the Carillon Community, was honored to host the annual cook-out with his neighbors and most recently became a league bocce player. He enjoyed playing golf, going to Blackhawks games, watching sports and was a foodie at heart. Survived by his loving daughters Holly (Michael) Ricca, and Becky Peretti; sister Pamela Peretti; granddaughters Ceyde and Rikki Santiago; (Aunt) Mary-Kay (Joe) Holtrop; also numerous nieces, nephews and his wonderful neighbors of the Andover/Carillon Community and last but not least his "lil buddy" Mr. P (the cat he never wanted but loved with all his heart). He is preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Judith Peretti. Visitation Friday November 14, 2025, from 10:00 am until the time of service 1:30 pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield, IL 60544. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
