Bill Allen "Jammer" Hendrix

Bill Allen Hendrix, "Jammer", age 69, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026 surrounded by his devoted family. Late of Rockdale, formerly of Plainfield, Bill's spirit was as free as the open road he loved to travel, especially on his motorcycle. As an enthusiastic rider, he found joy in the thrill of the journey and the friendships built along the way. When he wasn't riding his Harley, he was a dedicated truck driver for over 30 years. He also shared his passion for music as a talented professional drummer, leaving a mark on everyone who had the pleasure of hearing him play. Bill is survived by his beloved wife Dawn Hendrix (nee Chapman); his treasured children Serenity (Darren) Harrison, Forrest (Christina) Hendrix, Dustin (Alison) McKinney, Wyatt Hendrix and Alexander Quigley; his 6 cherished grandchildren; his loving mother Virginia (Roy) Beehn; his fond siblings Jimmy (Jill) Hendrix, Wanda (Mark) Johnson, Chuck (the late Patty) Hendrix, and Valerie Miko; dear step-siblings Roy (Wendy) Beehn Jr., Jeff (Ashley) Beehn and Linda (fiancee Don) Beehn. He is preceded in death by his father Bill Hendrix and stepbrother Derrick Beehn. Memorial visitation will take place Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 2-7pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield IL 60544. Memorial service to begin at 6:30pm, concluding the evening. Cremation rites have been accorded.
