Maddox-Carter Memorial Home - WinderMr. Gregory "Greg" Conrad Hendrix, age 56, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 2, 2026, at his residence, after a courageously fought battle with aggressive stomach cancer.
Greg was born in Statesville, North Carolina, and raised in Tucker, Georgia. He was the first son of Danny Conrad Hendrix and Brenda Marie Tant. Greg attended Tucker High School where he played football and was part of the wrestling team. He was a proud graduate of the University of Georgia; he received a Bachelor of Art in Communications. Greg was the owner and chief executive officer of CT Solutions of Buford for the past twenty-two years. His favorite past times involved camping, boating, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles with his family and friends.
Mr. Hendrix is survived by his devoted wife, Sandy Smith Hendrix of St. Louis, Missouri and a resident of Winder; father, Danny Conrad (Jackie) Hendrix of Lexington, KY; mother, Brenda Marie (Johnny) Page of St. Simons Island, GA; son, William Conrad (Erica) Hendrix of Statham; daughter, Alexandra Hendrix (Jacob) Lanehart of Columbus; brother, Joseph Corbin Hendrix of Des Moines, Iowa; and four grandchildren, Bryson Conrad Hendrix, Mason Lanehart, Rhett Lanehart, and Weston Lanehart.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at New Covenant Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Anglin officiating.
Flowers are accepted or donations can be made in memory of Mr. Hendrix to New Covenant Baptist Church, 1051 Auburn Road Dacula, Georgia 30019.
Maddox Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
