Arletha Jean Woods, 65, a beloved member of the Amory community, passed away on March 25, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center ~ Gilmore in Amory, Mississippi. Born on December 31, 1960, in Aberdeen, Monroe County, Mississippi. Arletha’s life was marked by dedication, grace, and a spirit that deeply touched those who knew her.
Arletha’s journey spanned over six decades, during which she exemplified strength and kindness. Known for her warm presence and unwavering faith, she was a cherished individual who found solace and purpose within her community and church family. Arletha’s devotion to her faith was reflected in her connection with the Victory Temple Holiness Church, where many will gather to honor her memory.
Visitation services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Victory Temple Holiness Church, located at 1200 Victory Temple Drive in Amory, Mississippi. The visitation is scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 PM (FAMILY), followed by an additional visitation hour from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 PM (PUBLIC), providing family, friends, and community members the opportunity to pay their respects and celebrate Arletha's life.
The Celebration of Life service will take place the following day, Saturday, April 4, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at Victory Temple Outreach Ministries, also located at 1200 Victory Temple Drive in Amory. This gathering will serve as a heartfelt tribute to Arletha's enduring legacy, allowing attendees to reflect on the profound impact she had on their lives.
Though Arletha Jean Woods has departed from this world, her memory remains alive in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
