Carie Lee Woods Sr.

Carie Lee Woods Sr, departed this earthly life March 20, 2026. He was born December 4, 1947 in Whiteville, TN the son Robert Sr and Jennie Mae Woods, Carie lived in Rockford most of his life coming from Whiteville. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War ,certified electrician and mechanic. Carie worked at Chrysler, Milo Lubrat Construction Corp. and Carlson Roofing. He also was a business owner over numerous businesses.

Carie leaves to cherish many loving memories, loving wife Donna Woods, his 3 daughters Quincina Woods, Sheneitha Hayes, Lenita Brooks; 5 sons, Lee Anthony (Jennifer) Charles, Quincy (Carolyn) & Carie Jr (Anika) Woods, Lorenzo Smith, and Aaron Johnson; 34 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; 4 sisters Peg (Ron ) Williams, Jaunita Woods, Delores (Jeff) Walker and Alberta Woods; 5 brothers Alex (Mary) Woods, James Woods, Robert Earl (Nora) Woods, Marvin Woods and Curtis (Amy) Woods; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers Donnie and Jonathan Woods; sisters Margaret Watkins, Eloise "Sweetpea" Pearson, Wanda Jean Woods and Doris Holliman.

Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 4, 2026 at Bethel Baptist Church 724 Harrison Ave. Burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
