Arlette Joanne Record

Arlette Joanne Record, aged 90, passed away on December 31, 2025 in her home at Applewood Pointe of New Brighton, surrounded by family. She was born on May 5, 1935 in Milltown, WI; her life was marked by devotion to her family, her faith, and a career that brought her joy and recognition. Arlette spent many fulfilling years at Dayton's, where her dedication and hard work earned her the distinction of Employee of the Year. Arlette enjoyed gardening for many years, creating a beautiful landscape for her family and friends.

A long time member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Arlette's faith was a significant aspect of her life, where she found comfort and community. Arlette's love for travel took her to many warm and sunny places which filled her with happiness. Her journeys were eagerly anticipated and provided lasting memories that she cherished and shared with family and friends. Arlette loved her Palm Springs friends dearly and enjoyed participating in the many activities with her friends at her home at Applewood Pointe of New Brighton. Family is forever grateful for this community.

Arlette is survived by her son, Mark; daughter Ann (Dirk) Bergren; brother Myrvin (Ann) Christopherson; sister Julie (Larry) Riemenschneider. Arlette is preceded in death by her parents, Inger and Fred Christopherson; her husband , James; sister, Marylin Wincentsen.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 11 am with visitation at Nativity Lutheran Church, 3312 Silver Lake Rd. St. Anthony, MN, one hour prior to service. Service will be live streamed (https://nativitychurch.org)

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Nativity Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association.
