Arline Bibeault Obituary

Arline A. Bibeault

WOONSOCKET - Arline (Rossi) Bibeault, 88, of Woonsocket, RI died February 6, 2026 at Chapel

Hill Senior Living, surrounded by her loving family. For 57 years,

she was the beloved wife of Roger Bibeault, who passed away in 2020. She was born in Woonsocket on April 8, 1937 to the late Aldo and Therese (Mainville) Rossi.

She is survived by her children Lynn Lancaster and her husband Ron of Boylston, MA, Jeffrey Bibeault and his partner Jessica Walker of Woonsocket, RI, and Paula Roberge and her husband Raymond of Seekonk, MA. She was the proud grandmother of Cassandra Roberge and her husband Jitesh Rane, Trevor Roberge, Nicholas Lancaster and Brandon & Dylan Bibeault. She is also survived by her five sisters, Mary Lamoureux of Wakefield, RI, Katherine McCombs and her husband, Thomas, of Rotunda West, Florida, Judith Harmon and her husband, Andrew of Woonsocket, RI, Anne Marie Rossi, of Barrington, RI, and Susan Cook and her husband, John, of Franklin, MA. Her two brothers, Ernest and Aldo F. Rossi, Jr. predeceased her. She will be missed by her many beloved nieces and nephews and so very many treasured friends.

Mrs. Bibeault worked for 23 years at Mount St. Charles Academy as an administrative assistant, retiring in 2002. She developed lasting friendships with many people from Mount and supported the mission of Catholic education throughout her life. She rarely went anywhere without someone recognizing her and sharing recollections of MSC.

She volunteered in many activities with her children, setting a wonderful example of the life of service she aspired to. She delivered Meals on Wheels, volunteered at Doorways Food Pantry, and supported numerous activities at Mount Saint Charles Academy. In her parish, she was president of the Ladies' Guild, chairperson for SPRED (helping those with disabilities more fully participate in the church), chairperson of the annual bazaar at St. Louis, lector and Eucharistic Minister. She was also a leader for Mother Rivier Lay Association in Woonsocket for many years and remained an active member until her passing. She was a member of her parish Project Linus group, providing knitted items and quilted blankets to newborns, local hospitals and cancer centers. She supported the unhoused by making frequent donations of coats, socks and food through her cousin's outreach. She also was a loyal blood donor while she was able, and blood drives during her illness have been held in her honor.

She did all the good she could, to all the people she could, as long as ever she could.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church 1200 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, it would be appreciated if donations were made to Mount St. Charles Academy, 800 Logee St., Woonsocket, RI 02895, or to Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, 180 Lowell Road, Hudson, NH 03051
