Arline Drnavich Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 18, 2025.
Arline Doris Drnavich, 96, 4-3-29. Born in St Paul, Mn. to Gustav and Marie Trapp. She was the only daughter and had 2 brothers, Monroe and Alvin. She had a great childhood as the only girl. She married the love of her life, Bill in 1972. She had 2 sons, Danny and Scotty. She ended up outliving all 3. She is survived by a granddaughter, Natasha, and 3 great grandchildren, Allena, Coby, and Carter. She also has a niece, Linda, and two nephews, Greg and Gary. Her Dad loved spoiling her and always took her to the candy store, thus her love for chocolate her whole life! She lived in MN for 40 years and over 50 in Santa Barbara. Bill got a job transfer to Santa Barbara and that's how she ended up in CA. Arline had an executive job at Chicago Title and she was a strong business woman. She had a big personality and enjoyed having fun entertaining ! She had a love for life. Even when she lost one of her legs, it didn't keep her from going out to dinner and enjoying herself with family and friends. Petite 5'2" but mighty! Loved dressing up especially wearing pink and wearing her favorite sweaters and jewelry. Big rings with lots of sparkle. She was spiritual and loved angels and decorated with them everywhere. She prayed. She grew up Lutheran. After she married Bill she would go to his catholic mass; it didn't matter to her where she went to church just go. One of a kind, the angels came to meet her and bring her home on September 8. Arline will be missed by many friends and family and those who were close to her by her side as caregivers! She went out in style!
