Armando T. (Sticks) Hernandez, passed away after a lengthy illness on October 29, 2022, with family at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roberto R. and Maria Hernandez and the oldest of his sisters, Ramona H. Perez.
Armando lived in Gonzales and attended and graduated from Gonzales High School. Soon after that he then enlisted in the Marine Corps, where he served multiple tour of duty in the Vietnam War. Once the war was over, he then returned to Santa Clarita, CA where he then called home and was reunited with his family once again. Armando tried to live his life to the fullest, he enjoyed going to football and baseball games with his nephews, David, Raymond, and Jess Palacios Jr. But most o f all he was proud of his sons, Armando Jr., James, and of course, his many grandchildren.
He is survived by his sisters; Evelia Hernandez, Lupe Palacios, younger brother, Richard Hernandez of Gonzales; niece, Marina Murillo; sons, Armando Jr. and James Hernandez of Los Angeles area; and numerous nieces, nephews in Gonzales. Until see each other again, rejoice for he is in God's hands and is now at peace.

Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 9 am to 10:30 am
at Woodyard Funeral Home, Soledad
Graveside Services with military honors:
Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 11 am
at Gonzales Cemetery District
