Armida Galvan nee Bonaguro. Age 102. Longtime Palos Park resident, formerly of Hazel Crest, IL and Chicago's Roseland Neighborhood. Native of Caltrano, Italy. Graduate of Niles Township High School. Former employee of International Harvester, Chicago. Longtime parishioner of Our Lady of the Woods Church, Orland Park. Member of the Blue Army World Apostolate Our Lady of Fatima. Wife for 37 years of the late Andrew Galvan. Mother of John (Mary) Galvan, Theresa "Terri" (Ronald) Ketcham, Andrew "Andy" (Julie) Galvan and Thomas "Tom" (late Maureen) Galvan. Grandmother and Nonna of Heidi (David) Peeters, Angela (John) Shiring, Matt (Mary Beth) Galvan, Jennifer (Ian) Altieri, Colleen (Kailey) Klein, Tom (Megan) Galvan, Beth (Rick) Oliverio, Michelle (Geno) Capezio, Jim (Marialisa) Ketcham, Cara Ketcham, Marie (Rob) Scardina, John M Galvan, Kathleen (Steven) Becker. Great-grandmother to 18 beloved children. Daughter of the late Angelina nee Matteazzi and Domenico Bonaguro. Sister of the late Armando "Lefty" (Frances) Bonaguro. Aunt to many nieces and nephews and friend to many. Our beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and aunt rests gently in Jesus's arms – her last and Heavenly home. We celebrate the joy and love she brought us all in life. She will truly be missed.
