Arnold “Arnie” Triemert, beloved Brother, Father, Grandfather, age 79, of Hugo, MN, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 21, 2025.

Arnie was born on July 16, 1946, to August and Florence (White) Triemert and grew up on St. Paul’s East Side. He built a fulfilling career as the owner of a commercial painting company, which he proudly operated until his retirement in 2010.

Arnie had a lifelong passion for motorcycles. He loved building and riding them, and enjoyed annual trips to Sturgis, SD, with family and friends. Summer Sundays often found him riding with his friends to breakfast. He also enjoyed restoring classic cars and took pride in his projects.

He is survived by his children, Jamie (Carrie) Triemert, Matt Hoover, John Rumley, and Mary Beth Schlesinger; his granddaughter, Jami Triemert; and his brothers and sisters.

Funeral service 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home – Roseville, 2130 North Dale Street at County Road B.

Visitation will be from 4:00–7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 29, and from 10:00–11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery, with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Arnie will be remembered for his generosity, hard work ethic and love of the open road. We imagine him now, riding his motorcycle on the clouds in heaven.
