Age 87, of Roseville

The journey of life began for Tom on November 6, 1930 and ended peacefully on August 30, 2018.

His parents Nick & Helen precede him in death ,as well as his son, Tom Jr., and sisters, Leona Martin and Pat (Rosella) Enes.

Surviving are Irene, his loving wife of 42 years; children, Cindy (Dave) Heinn, Steve (Ginny), Vickie Drigins, David (Maria), and Patrick & girlfriend Clarissa; sisters, Betty Smith & Kathy (Russ) Thornell; brother-in-law, Bob Martin; and former wife Ellen Triemert. There are 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends including the Straus and Morisette families.

Tom grew up in St. Paul, attended Mechanic Arts HS and at age 17 began employment with Straus Knitting Mills. That career lasted more than 60 years! He was recognized for those years of service as well as for more than 50,000 stocking caps he and Irene made with the knitting machine he was given after his retirement. Those caps were distributed to many organizations over several states for people in need.
