Arnnie Floyd Suko, 84, Jamestown, ND died Sunday October 6, 2024, at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND.
Arnnie was born December 12, 1939, at Jamestown, ND, the son Tavalt and Elsie (Gomke) Suko. He attended the local rural school near Eldridge, where he received his elementary education.
Arnnie enlisted in the US Navy January 29, 1957. He served on the USS Floyd B. Parks in San Deigo, CA. He was discharged December 7, 1960, with the rank of SN (E-3).
He began working for General Motors on the assembly line in California for many years. He returned to ND to farm the family farm and take care of his mother.
Arnnie was a member of the American Legion and the Eagles Club.
He is survived by his special friend, LaVonne Kolberg, Jamestown, ND; brother, Larry (Sonja) Suko, Gilbert, AZ, sister, Carol (Tom) Carli, Minneapolis, MN, sister-in-law, Kay Suko, Milwaukee, WI.
Arnnie was preceded in death by his parents and brother Calvin.
