Arnold Gray Hackworth Jr

Arnold Gray Hackworth Jr. age 66, of Gladys, VA, passed away on February 5th 2024.  He was the son of Arnold Gray Hackworth Sr and Ethel Gowen Hackworth. 

Arnold was born on September 22nd 1957 in Lynchburg VA. He attended Altavista High School. 

 Arnold was a member of Tree of Life Ministries and enjoyed collecting antiques, Nascar cars Eagles etc. 

Arnold is survived by his wife, Deborah Gilliland Hackworth and 3 sisters, Sandra Kay Clark (Doodie),  Linda Karl (Doug) and Brenda Thurman, 1 brother, Ronnie Hackworth, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  He also leaves numerous friends in the community. 

 In addition to his parents Arnold is predeceased by a sister, Shelby Bond. 

 A visitation will be held on Thursday February 15th at 5 o'clock with the Memorial Service at 6 o'clock pm. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with the Reverend Jamie Adam's officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cancer Society, Hospice Association or your choice of Charity.
