Arnold James Leavitt, age 68 of Lohrville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at UW Hospital, Madison. He was born in Berlin on July 18, 1956 to Eber and Esther (Zuehlke) Leavitt. Arnie was a longtime resident of Lohrville and truly enjoyed his job at Kwik Trip. He was proud to volunteer for the Appleton Jaycees, including being chapter president for a year, and filled his time by watching the Packers, camping, bowling and playing cards with both friends and family. Arnie had a passion for helping others and was a dedicated, longtime supporter of March of Dimes. As a man of strong faith, Arnie always put God first. He said “Jesus Christ will come again and the Christians and Jews will be singing Hallelujah! We each have a purpose in life to show God's love to the world."

Arnie is survived by his children: Paul, Julie (Ronald) Schmoker, Luke (Katrina); grandchildren: Landen, Blake, Lillian, Isabella; brother: Mark (Joanne) Leavitt; nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Eugene.
